Brothers Osborne, Lauren Alaina and Dustin Lynch to Announce 51st Annual CMA Awards Nominees

It’s that time of year again…the CMA Awards are on the way!

To lead up to the 51st Annual CMA Awards broadcast, Good Morning America teamed up with the Country Music Association to enlist Brothers Osborne, Lauren Alaina and Dustin Lynch to announce the lucky nominees for Country Music’s Biggest Night. They’ll give the scoop on which artists represent the best of the best in the genre when they broadcast the names that’ll be the talk of the town until the big event.

“The CMA Awards are my favorite time of the year. It’s exciting to honor country music’s legacy, celebrate today’s artists, and reveal the superstars of tomorrow,” said Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer, in a recent press release. “Unlike any other awards show, we represent a rich history of one individual music genre. And to have these three acts unveil our nominees on a national platform signifies a new era of talent and the continued growth of the industry, a core pillar of our organization.”

Brothers Osborne will play double duty as they will not only inform viewers about the upcoming nominations, but also perform their latest radio single, “It Ain’t My Fault.” The special Labor Day broadcast for GMA will be countrified just as they always host the nominations every year.

The CMA Awards occur annually each November, highlighting the best music in the country genre over the previous year. With awards such as Female and Male Vocalist of the Year, Single of the Year and the unprecedented Entertainer of the Year, the show represents the progression of the format through accolades, honors and special performances throughout the evening.

The 51st Annual CMA Awards nominees will be revealed live on Good Morning America on Monday, September 4, starting at 8:30 a.m. ET on ABC. The 51st Annual CMA Awards, hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, will air Wednesday, November 8 on ABC.
