The Academy of Country Music has had to revamp and re-plan everything for its 55th annual celebration due to the COVID-19 pandemic. And while the show has been rescheduled for September 16, the ACM is still looking towards their next awards show by announcing the air date for 2021.

The 56th Academy of Country Music Awards will broadcast live on Sunday, April 18, 2021 (live 8:00-11:00 PM ET/delayed PT). No word yet on if the show will return to Las Vegas as it normally does each year. Other details including the host, performers, ticket on-sale dates, hotel information, and more will be announced in the coming months.

For now, country fans can look forward to the 55th ACM Awards, scheduled to take place across Nashville, TN on September 16. The show will air live from Grand Ole Opry House, Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium and The Bluebird Cafe on CBS. Keith Urban is set to host for the first time.
