Eighth time’s a charm for Darius Rucker and his support for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as he just announced his annual show will be taking the Ryman Auditorium stage on June 5.

The country singer partnered up with the hospital nine years ago and has consistently planned a benefit concert to give back to the organization in his own way. Year after year, the show has sold out and raised more than $800,000 to help the children at the facility.

For Rucker, he feels honored to have taken on the role as the host of the benefit show and can’t wait to see what’s in store for this year’s performances.

“This concert is a real highlight for me every year,” Rucker said. “And I couldn’t do it without the support of my friends who turn out to perform, tell stories and make this a memorable night for the fans, who are here from around the world.”

In the past, fellow country stars have lent their talents to the concert including Charles Kelley, Randy Houser, Luke Bryan, Kenny Rogers, Jamey Johnson and many more famous faces. Although the lineup has yet to be announced for the show, fans can only dream up their idealistic set of artists to play a few songs for the night.

Tickets for the event go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 14, at 10 a.m. CT via Ticketmaster.
