Dustin Lynch’s Debut Album Leaps To No. 1 On iTunes Country & Top 5 All Genre Album Charts

Shortly upon its release today at midnight, Dustin Lynch’s self-titled, debut album leapt to the top of the iTunes Country Albums Chart and into the Top 5 on the iTunes All Genre Albums Chart.

At press time, Lynch’s Broken Bow Records debut – which has been lauded by Billboard magazine as one of its “Most Anticipated Debuts of 2012” — remained at No.1 on the iTunes Country Albums Chart and continued to be one of the Top 5 selling albums across all genres on iTunes.

Lynch is preparing to make media rounds in support of the release.

Today, fans can tune in to GAC’s “On the Streets” as Lynch discusses the inspiration behind his debut album with host Suzanne Alexander. GAC’s On the Streets airs at 2 pm, 7:30 pm and 11:30 p ET today with re-airs throughout the week on the Great American Country channel.

Tonight, CMT Radio Live with Cody Alan will host a video chat with Lynch at 8 pm ET/ 7 pm CT. Fans can log in HERE to watch as Lynch answer questions from his fans in person.

On Friday, August 24, fans can get a double dose of the rising star as he drops by the sets of CMT’s “Top 20 Countdown” (premiering at 11 am ET) and GAC’s “Top 20 Country Countdown” (premiering at 8 pm ET).
