Although he’s made no announcement over making new music, Luke Bryan debuted a never-before-heard song at one of his recent VIP meet-and-greet shindigs.

Performing a track called “Like You Say You Do” acoustically to the crowd, Bryan admitted he may falter throughout the lyrics because he hadn’t quite gotten the hang of the new song just yet. The love song paints the narrator as the romantic hero promising passion to a woman who settles for less from someone who doesn’t devote the time and attention to her like they claim to.

The country star may have slipped up a couple times due to the new material premiering, but the fans at the meet-up enjoyed the music nonetheless by listening in with open ears.

This could mark a taste of Bryan’s next musical step as his last album, Kill the Lights, will hit its second-year release anniversary in August. Plowing through the hits like “Strip It Down,” “Fast,” “Home Alone Tonight” and more, Bryan seeks to continue his No. 1 reign and “Like You Say You Do” could be the next song to join his massive list of hits.

Bryan is currently out on his Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day Tour this summer and fans can find more details about the tour online.
